Treatment of respiratory diseases (pleuropneumonia, pneumonia caused by Pasteurella, general bacterial pneumonia) caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella choleraesuis, Streptococcosis etc.
Day-old chicks
Control of early chick mortality, associated with Escherichia coli. organisms susceptible to ceftiofur sodium

Cattle
Reconstitute 1g in 20ml of water for injection and administer by intramuscular 1ml reconstituted sterile solution per 50kg body weight (1mg per kg body weight). Treatment should be repeated at 24 hour intervals for two or three consecutive days.
Swine
Reconstitute 1g in 20ml of sterile water for injection and administer intramuscularly 0.6ml reconstituted sterile solution per 10kg body weight (3mg per kg body weight). Treatment should be repeated at 24 hour intervals for 2 or 3 consecutive days.
Day-old chicks
Administer by subcutaneous injection in the neck region of day-old chicks at a dosage of 0.08 to 0.2mg ceftiofur equivalents per chick.
